Everyone knows that Obama is a slithering invertebrate but North Dakota Governor Doug Burgum and sheriff Kyle Kirchmeier are the warlords waging war against the tribes. We see a very similar war on the Iowa farmers after the pipeline corporation bought off governor Terry Branstad. No one has ever flipped to favor eminent domain as fast as Branstad did. So it's not only the natives who are being screwed by our corrupt government.
The fracking industry has its own mercenary army that comes into a county to make sure nothing or no one gets in the way and slows down the drilling schedule. I first saw this happen with McDonald's and Walmart more than 30 years ago. Executives would come into town and buy off enough city officials to make sure all the permits were approved before the people found out what was going on.
Within a few years all the small businesses would be boarded up because they couldn't compete with McDonald's and Walmart. Republicans need to wake the fuck up because this type of corruption is coming to your town soon.

Your avatar shows sections of the brain that are for food, beer, TV, etc... It doesn't show any relation to YOUR brain. It would if all the different sections had a picture of a large, fat, erect dick in them. Quite a few women in the Dakotas know Chaos. I smile when I think about all the fun we had.

So you agree with the protesters who threw out their pets to die in the cold when they deserted the camp?

So you agree with the protesters who threw out their pets to die in the cold when they deserted the camp? That's a hell of a stretch you made there, Hawk. All I said was Dakota women are a lot of fun. I enjoyed being the new guy in town. It's not too often chaos passes through the high plains.

Now, what say you about the envirowacks leaving their animals behind to suffer without food, water or shelter? Chaos is a treat no matter where I roam. I just sit back and watch as people fret over me. Did you see my Busybody thread? I have people spending years of their life worrying about ever little thing I do. If it's true that the Lakota neglect their pets, it's really not my business, I'm more concerned about the way the Lakota people are treated by the oil thugs. I even thought about heading out there to have a looksee but I have been away from the ocean way too long and need that saltwater to heal me. That's about as close as I get to taffy.

No. These are not pipeline accidents. These are accidents. Both of your photos are from accidents involving TRAINS! .....scene of a train derailment Thursday, March 5, 2015, near Galena, Ill. GALENA, Ill. (AP) — The rail cars that split open and burst into flames during a western Illinois oil train derailment this week had been retrofitted with protective shields to meet a higher safety standard than federal law requires, according to railroad officials. Fiery oil train derailment in western Illinois involved tank cars built to safer standard ... link May 6, 2015 2:38 PM EDT
BISMARCK, N.D. -- An oil train derailed and caught fire early Wednesday in a rural area of central North Dakota, prompting the evacuation of a nearby town where about 20 people live. No injuries were reported in the accident about 7:30 a.m. near Heimdal, about 115 miles northeast of Bismarck. Ten tanker cars on the BNSF Railway train caught fire, creating thick black smoke, state Emergency Services spokeswoman Cecily Fong said. North Dakota town evacuated after oil train derailment
linkNTSB: Defective axle led to fiery North Dakota train collision Bart Jansen , USA TODAY Published 12:29 p.m. ET Feb. 7, 2017
WASHINGTON – Federal investigators ruled Tuesday that the fiery collision of two BNSF Railway trains in North Dakota, which spilled nearly 500,000 gallons of crude oil, resulted from an axle breaking beneath the car of one train because of a manufacturing defect. The accident, which was the NTSB's first investigation of a major crude-oil spill, helped build concerns about tank-car safety. The North Dakota collision followed a fiery July 2013 derailment in the Canadian town of Lac-Megantic, which killed dozens of people.
Feb. 7, 2017? msm sure is quiet about this one....hmmm linkChallenges Faced During 2013 Casselton Train Derailment On December 30, 2013 in Casselton, a BNSF westbound train with 112 grain cars went off the tracks. Thirteen of the cars derailed, and one fell on the eastbound tracks. Within two minutes, a BNSF eastbound crude oil train hit that car. That caused two front locomotives, a hopper car, and twenty cars on the eastbound train to derail, and 18 of them ruptured, exploded, and released 450,000 gallons of Bakken crude oil. linkTROUBLE ON THE TRACKS: ARE STRICTER STANDARDS NEEDED TO STEM THE TIDE OF RECENT DERAILMENTS? Several recent high-profile train explosions showed signs that revised safety standards for tanker car construction voluntarily adopted by railcar manufacturers back in October of 2011 may be failing to prevent the oil fueled infernos that caused these trains to fall off the tracks.
Another oil train explodes in West Virginia. Here's why this keeps happening.
Updated by Brad Plumer@bradplumerbrad@vox.com Feb 17, 2015,West Virginia is now the latest casualty. On Monday, a CSX-owned freight train traveling through Fayette County went off the rails and burst into flame. Two nearby towns had to evacuate, and a water-treatment plant shut down after concern that oil seeped into the Kanawha River. Gov. Earl Ray Tomblin has declared a state of emergency for the county. It's still unclear what caused the derailment. Early reports suggest 9 or 10 tank cars caught fire, and one person was being treated for smoke inhalation.(CSX said the tank cars were a newer model, not a widely used older version known to be especially prone to puncture.) The AP got video of the fireball: link

Poor duders.... Found one!! THE ASSOCIATED PRESS Tuesday, November 1, 2016, 3:41 AM HELENA, Ala. — An explosion along the Colonial Pipeline in rural Alabama killed one worker and injured several others Monday not far from where the line burst and leaked thousands of gallons of gasoline last month, authorities said. A track hoe — a machine used to remove dirt — struck the pipeline, Colonial Pipeline said in a more detailed update late Monday night. Gasoline was then ignited and caused the blaze, the company said. link

Let's get political about this one! Oil spill at Port of Albany sends two to the hospital By Ali Stewart May 19, 2015, 12:00 pm Updated: May 19, 2015, 3:47 pm The Albany Deputy Chief says the spill happened at 50 Church St. when 400 gallons of crude oil sludge was spilled. According to authorities, workers were pumping “crude oil sludge” into a containment device to clean a tank when fitting on the containment device failed and product spilled out. link(sludge is some smelly stuff!) Senator Schumer Seeks Federal Grant For Port Of Albany By DAVE LUCAS • JUL 18, 2016
Schumer told the gathering that the grant would help improve current obstacles like moving and storing heavy cargo, while supporting Capital Region manufacturers that develop next-generation technology equipment that is too big or complicated for road or rail transport. "The port needs some infrastructure upgrades. And if these are not made, it could hurt the port in getting new business, and could hurt our upstate manufacturers, because they won't be able to get their equipment in a cheap way to their customers around the globe."

"It's estimated that this project will create 500 new jobs." (until the money runs out) Schumer, who traveled to the port last week, led the charge to secure the $17 million grant by pushing the US Dept. of Transportation, including a phone call to Secretary Anthony Foxx. link

Some reading material to breeze through: CRUDE-BY-RAIL ACROSS AMERICA
The crude oil train explosion in Lac-Mégantic, Canada, killed 47 people. THE OIL INDUSTRY has scrambled to transport crude oil from drill sites to the east and west coasts, where it can potentially be shipped overseas to more lucrative markets, as hydraulic fracturing and tar sands drilling has created a glut of oil. The increase in oil rail traffic, however, has not been matched with increased regulatory scrutiny. Oil trains are not subject to the same strict routing requirements placed on other hazardous materials; trains carrying explosive crude are permitted to pass directly through cities—with tragic results. In the absence of more protective regulations, communities across the country are beginning to take matters in their own hands. linkA TIMELINE: RECENT OIL TRAIN-RELATED INCIDENTS Cool interactive map !

All that work for NOTHING? I'm used to it It's called conditioning. I'm part of the choir and would never defend the corporatists, especially when it comes to fossil fuels. Think how many jobs Trump could create if he decided to fight for some of those renewable energy jobs instead of allowing China to dominate the industry. I don't know much about wind turbines but I watched a video that claims it's way more doable than solar. It's worth looking into before I comment further but turbines have been around for a long time.
