The vast majority of Americans can't make a short list of their conservative principles. They are led to believe they are conservative simply by agreeing with hate radio and Fox news.
American conservatism has been bastardized by:
the war machine
Christian fundamentalists
laissez-faire economics (neoliberalism)
Prudence is the essence of conservatism and derived from or synonymous with virtuous, sagacious or judicious, so there are philosophic aspects that transcend culture or creed. There is nothing virtuous about the Christian war machine plundering the earth of its natural resources.

Poppycock is dominated by so-called conservatives who hate half of America. Obamacare was written by the Heritage Foundation (a right-wing think tank) yet republicans reject it simply because it was signed into law by a mulatto. I actually made the effort to read Objectivism by Ayn Rand and it has nothing to do with conservative principles here in the real world. A barn raising is the epitome of collectivism which is the ultimate sin according to Rand and "conservative" think tanks.
I can remember when republicans were capable of open and honest conversation on topics such as this.

The U.S. military is the best funded socialist structure in the world, with the purest form of single-payer healthcare from a taxpayer financed veterans administration. People couldn't just pull something out of their ass or parrot the propaganda spread by the news media. People were actually willing to read a magazine or a book to find out how bad we were being screwed by our government. I posted this in American conservatism to show how republicans love big government spending tax dollars on programs that make huge profits for a small private sector while continuing to grow our institutional witch hunts.
This is why so many people fled Europe for the American revolution. Neo-feudalism is not happy with minimum wage workers, so they make us into felons and force us to work for free.

They are criminals. They want to work for the money in their "bank" so they can have cigarettes, candy etc. They can have a small amount in their bank. Either their family or friends put the funds in there or they have to earn it. This is the system that has been in place forever.
