I was 5 but I remember it pretty clearly. It was my job to count the stairs but I was in such awe and not very good at multitasking. I was up in the Gateway Arch too -- smoked a tiny glass water pipe up there. I used to make it a hobby to climb up to the bell tower of old chapels to smoke a blunt.

My favorite is the Palm Springs aerial tram. That is where I would take family and friends when they came to visit me in Southern Cal. It's over 9000 feet higher and about 50 degrees cooler than the desert floor.
